Students enrolling part-time in our “Course for Credit” program can choose from 100+ online courses for grades 3 - 12 across core academic subjects like English, Math, Social Studies, and Science, as well as engaging electives like French, Computer Science, Studio Art, Guitar, Culinary Arts, Marine Biology, Life Skills, Mindfulness, and much more, with new course offerings created by request.
Students are empowered to set their own goals and co-design their coursework, ensuring that learning is personally relevant and meaningful—all while earning transferable course credit. Schedule as many or as few instructional sessions as you prefer, live online 1-to-1 or in small groups, and attend class over Zoom from anywhere in the world.
For our California students, we offer dozens of college-prep and honors courses accredited by UC Doorways, with rolling year-round enrollment—start anytime, on a schedule you choose, with the right level of structure and teacher support.
Extensive, Ever-Expanding Course Catalog
Eclipse Academy offers dozens of accredited online college-prep and honors courses for gifted, profoundly gifted, and 2e learners in grades 3 - 12, living anywhere in the United States or abroad. Schools, colleges, and universities worldwide accept our transcripts and high school diplomas, as our WASC and UC Doorways accreditations are gold standards internationally.
New accredited courses can be developed from scratch by request, and all coursework is tailored for each individual student, as our experienced teachers draw upon a range of instructional resources—from our own original inquiry-based curricula developed in-house, to numerous third-party resources ranging in purpose and style, like (teacher-scaffolded) Crash Course videos or Beast Academy math for younger learners, and dual-enrollment online college courses via Arizona State University for our (advanced) middle and high school students.

Self-Paced, Mastery-Based Learning
All courses are guided by our self-paced, mastery-based learning approach, in which we award course grades based on a student’s demonstrated mastery of learning goals, rather than on “seat time” minimums or other arbitrary measures.
Each student at Eclipse Academy progresses at their own best pace, scaffolded by our team of experienced educators, administrators, and wrap-around service clinicians. We meet each student exactly where they are, and together we chart a custom course ahead. Learn more about our approach.
